suuQ ("suuQ", "we", "us", or "our") provides a business management platform covering inventory, point of sale, finance, purchasing, quotations, and related tools for small and medium businesses ("Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, including when you access suuQ through our website or mobile application.

Account & Business Information

• Name, email address, and phone number when you register or are added as a team member.
• Business details such as company name, business type, address, and branding assets (e.g. logo) that you upload.
• Role and permission settings within your organization's account.

Operational Data

• Inventory, product, and pricing records you create.
• Sales, purchase orders, quotations, and financial/accounting records generated through the Services.
• Customer and supplier contact details you add for invoicing or communication (e.g. WhatsApp contacts).
• Wallet and payment transaction data, including M-Pesa reference details, when you use wallet or payment features.

Technical Information

• Device and log information such as IP address, browser type, and usage activity, used for security and troubleshooting.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in and to understand how the Services are used (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including your dashboard, inventory, POS, and reports.

We retain personal and business data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Financial and transaction records may be retained for longer periods where required by applicable tax, accounting, or other legal obligations, even after an account deletion request has been processed.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may access, correct, or update your account information at any time from your account settings. You may also request deletion of your account and associated personal data via our Account Deletion page. We will action deletion requests within 30 days, except for information we are legally required to retain (such as financial records needed for tax compliance).
